Escape the heat and join us at a higher elevation!  This year we'll be having a rendezvous at Bucks Lake in the beautiful northern High Sierras the first weekend in August.  Less touristy and packed with RV's than the Sierras south of Tahoe, this area is a motorcyclist's paradise!  Whether it be canyon strafing up Highway 70 along the Feather River (watch out for the CHP!), meandering twisty backroads through beautiful countryside, or some of the finest GS riding around, we've got your pleasure.  Or jump in the lake and cool off in the heat of the afternoon.  To get to Bucks Lake, make your way to the town of Quincy (I prefer Highway 70), and head west on Bucks Lake Rd.  The road goes clockwise around the southern end of the lake; we're in the Hutchins Group Site #1 on the northwest side.  This isn't a catered rendezvous, so bring your cooking gear and portable coolers!  Victuals and beverages can easily be obtained in Quincy, which is close, or at the small stores at the lake.  Camping fee will be $10 or less to cover the cost of the site.  We only have space for 25 uunless we book another site, so RSVP ASAP to Andrew Hartman ( This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ) if you'd like to come.  See you there!
