UPDATE

Due to my having intestinal flu, the weather and only 2

other Heads telling me they were coming on Friday we're

back to this being a Saturday and Sunday event.  I

apologize for the short notice and hope I have not

caused any inconvenience.

Saddle up folks we’re going camping Friday and Saturday at the 1.95 mile Blackhawk Farms Raceway  (http://www.blackhawkfarms.com/)

for CCS motorcycle roadraces. (http://www.ccsracing.com/showList) Tickets are $25 for the weekend and $1 showers. The owners of the track have told us to ignore the "no beer" signs so you folks from Wisconsin don’t have to hide your suds.  I’ll bring a grill, a couple coolers, firewood, rain tarp, and picnic table. Friday night BBQ and lasagna for Saturday dinner.  As you go through the pits stay to your right and ease your way over to turn 3D.

From Chitown: Take I-90 west to the Rockton Road exit (about 15 miles north of Rockford, 3 miles south of the Wisconsin border).  Go west on Rockton Road, through town, cross over 3 bridges.  After the 3rd bridge, take the 2nd right (north) onto Prairie Road (5.5 miles west of I-90).  The track is about 1.5 miles on the left.  Be advised I-90 has a couple of toll booths so have your $ ready.  For questions or more info you may contact Al Sloan This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it  (815-286-7374).
