The Pennsylvania Airheads will hold their SuperTech weekend this winter in Boyertown, PA 19512 (about 50 miles northwest of Philadelphia, PA). This extravaganza of airhead tech and training sessions will build on the success of the 2006 event and be the best ever.

The very special guests, and Keynote speakers at the Saturday night banquet, will be Matt and Susanna Parkhouse.  As you know Matt has been one of the most significant supporters of the ABC and Airheads in general for decades.  His articles in the BMW MOA Owners news, his lectures and seminars, with Susanna, at regional and National rallies, and their various airhead adventures over the past 30 years make them one of the foremost authorities on airhead beemers and a treasure to the club.  “Hobomatt”  and Susanna are the Colorado Airmarshals, and friends to us all, Matt is the Airheads Region 2 Board Director and they will be here in Pennsylvania for SuperTech.

We will gather for lies and tire kicking on that Friday night for those arriving early and the tech sessions will begin at 8:00am on Saturday morning, running all day. Training sessions will cover how systems and components work, how to maintain and overhaul them, how to “git out of trouble on the side of the road” and how to keep these great bikes safe and reliable.  Sessions will mostly focus on the ‘later’ airheads from /5 through end of production.  All the famous cut-away and demo stuff will be there.  We’ll bring in lunch and finish the day around 5pm.  The banquet dinner that evening will start around 6:00 for more tire kicking time with Matt, Susanna and the other instructors, then dinner and Matt and Susanna’s presentation.

Sessions will begin again Sunday morning and activities will conclude by noon so everyone will be able to travel home that afternoon.  This will be a unique opportunity to get valuable maintenance and trouble shooting knowledge and to defeat the winter doldrums and PMS (Parked Motorcycle Syndrome).  Great info, great camaraderie and great time with world famous airhead experts.

Our goal is to maximize the value to those attending so only 60 student slots are available. Attendance at the seminars and the banquet is on a pre-registration basis only.  Fees will be $65 for Airheads Beemer Club members and $85 for non-members.  The banquet fee will be an additional $30 per head: space available for a few spouses at the banquet.  A very nice affair.

Registration opens December 1st, 2006.  Send a check for the total amount to Bob Sipp at 2188 Johnston Ave, Bethlehem, PA  18015.    All students please include, typed on a separate sheet, their name, address, phone number, email address and ABC membership number to facilitate contacting you with further details.  Bob can be reached at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it if needed but only received checks will count.  Its only fair to everyone.  Once the max student number is reached we will hold further checks on a standby list and return them after the weekend has completed.

We will be supplying further details like motel and airport info, maps, schedules, and driving directions to students after they register.  Do not drag your feet on this one.  Slots will fill up fast.
