Beamers at Burning Man August 27 - September 3, 2006

This will be the 10th year of the Airheads camp at the Burning Man festival, on the Black Rock Desert of Nevada. Burning Man is NOT a motorcycle event. It is a large scale art exhibit/party, that has grown to over 39,000 paricipants <burningman.com>. All participants must provide everything they need (including water) for the duration of their stay. There are NO vendors - one exception, ice is sold. Since it is virtually impossible to carry enough water, food, infrastructure and other supplies on a bike, some of us will drive out, to provide support for those coming on bikes. Remember - once you arrive, you must park your bike for the duration. Driving within the event is strictly verboten, except for seriously, permenantly altered art vehicles. (You can no longer glue a few sequins on your bike and expect to ride it around.) We welcome all persuasions of motorcycle.

At Burning Man there are no spectators. You MUST participate. That begins with helping us plan for our camp. Because we have to know how much stuff to bring, we need a very accurate head count. We MUST know if you are coming. Do not show up and expect to camp with us if you have not heard back that you are counted in.
