Nestled in the mountains above Quincy, CA and surrounded by some of the best street and dirt riding in the world is Bucks Lake.  If it's hot and stifling elsewhere, it's cool and refreshing at Bucks Lake.  Once again this year we'll be getting together for an Airheads campout in the best NorCal tradition - laid back and unstructured with emphasis on relaxation and fun.  We have sites A & B in the Hutchins Group Camp again this year for Friday and Saturday night.  Pit toilets and no showers, but the lake is just a short walk from the campground and offers excellent swimming.  For those that enjoy a more refreshing swim, Lower Bucks Lake is also a short walk away and is usually ten degrees colder.  Space is limited to 50 individuals, so please contact me in advance to reserve a spot if you'd like to attend.  There's no registration fee, but we usually split the cost of the campsite (typically about $5/person).  Pack in your own food and beverages or dine at one of the restaurants bordering the lake or in Quincy.  GS and dual-sport riders can enjoy fantastic dirt roads in the area; street bike riders also have a huge selection of riding options.  Contact Andrew Hartman, #3445 at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it for more information or to sign up.
