The tech day will take place Saturday October 24 and Sunday October 25.
The tech day will be hosted by Tom Stewart and his wife Donna. Their home is located in a lovely wooded area close to Penetanguishene and they have generously offered to host this event. The wrenching will take place in a well-lit heated garage, which can accommodate up to four bikes. Another secure garage is available for bike parking a few steps from the work area.
Considering the time of year, indoor sleeping space in available at the cottage of Terry Church close to the tech day location. Camping space is available for the hearty though!
Four cots at the cottage can be claimed but bring a sleeping mat and bag to use on them please. Floor space is available as well in the cottage.
Four hotels are located close as well ranging in price from $50-$100.
Some interesting work will be conducted and there is lots of good riding in the Muskoka area. To allow our hosts to arrange food, please let me know if you will attend by Oct. 14.
They will provide lunch and dinner on Saturday October 24 to those that RSVP. A collection will be taken to offset their costs.
As usual, if you have need of any special tools, drop me a note. And please provide your own liquids: For the bike and also alcoholic beverages for yourself.
I hope to meet some more of the Ontario Airheads, admire your bikes and do some socializing.
