A rare, revelling roundabout romp for rough & ready riders. From Ft. Collins, we'll take Hwy. 14 west to Walden, continue south on Hwy. 125, then northeast on Hwy. 34 through Rocky Mtn. Nat'l Park completing the circuit by way of Estes Park & Loveland. The route takes us through river valleys, high plateaus, mountain passes, Pine & Aspen forests and tundra. We'll navigate 225 miles of spectacular scenery, cross the Great Divide three times, and reach an altitude of over 12,000 ft. on the nation's highest continuous road.
The ride will be followed by a BBQ at my place in Ft. Collins. There's yard camping or floor space to accomodate overnighters and those on route to Paonia.
Directions: Exit I-25 at Prospect St., go west to Lemay, then about 1/2 mile south to Columbia, and west to 2238 Iroquois Dr. (the white house.)
