| Get COOL in the tall pines at 7000 ft. in central Arizona. Join the AZ Airheads for a weekend of friendly camping and majestic mountain riding. Playground Group Campground, in the Prescott National Forest, will be the place. Normal USFS camp facilities plus water, refreshments provided. Awesome Mountain Rides and Historic Arizona Towns: Oak Creek Canyon, Sedona, Yarnell Hill, Great Western Trail, Off-Road Trails, Prescott, Jerome. We will pass the hat to cover camping / refreshment expenses. Dairections: Take US 89A (7mi. southwest of Jerome, or 13 mi. east of Prescott Valley) to Forest Road 104. FR104 is the road at the crest of Mingus Mountain. Go east on FR104 for 2 mi. (dirt road) to Playground Group Campground. Look for signs. AZ A/M Brian Bowles |
