Do you lose time from work due to riding your airhead boxer? Is riding affecting your reputation? Do you turn to lower companions and an inferior environment when riding? Has your ambition decreased since buying an airhead? Do you crave a ride each day? Do you ride to escape from worries or trouble? Have you ever been treated for riding?
Don't be discouraged. There are thousands of others just like you. Be an actor not a reactor. Join the Boxer rebellion with the non-profit Airheads Beemer Club.
After nearly 40 years of off and on motorcycle riding, I bought my first BMW in Dec 2008 - a 1987 R80RT. I'm still learning German engineering, after owning 8 Japanese bikes, and loving the way this airhead carves up the roads. I take a longer way to and from work and plan rides during coffee breaks.
I am a confirmed member of the Boxer Rebellion :-)

I always thought of myself as a four wheel two seater type of guy. I was also seriously thinking about selling my R60/5 for yet another Porsche. I took my first long ride this past Thursday (I am still a bit of a novice and yet to test for my full license, but that will change as of July 29)and when I walked into the house I told my wife that I was hooked. I called my son-in-law, who is a long time member of the airheads, and told him of my little adventure. The complements that this bike gets is kind of fun too. Bob
