"
You are not authorized to view this resource.
You need to login."
This error happens when you try to access a page when you aren't logged in. If you think you are logged in -- you aren't. ABC# will remain in the "Who's Online" section for a period of time after you close your browser, or if there is a problem with cookies.
This confusion can happen if you, a firewall, or a security program like Symantec becomes overly paranoid and disabled cookies. This can also happen if you are using AOL, click here for that problem.
I just wrote the 'webmaster' about this recurring problem; got the response of a link that apparently is written by 'webmaster' telling me that I might think I'm logged in, but am not. I suppose that's supposed to be an answer, but is not. I go to the website, log in first (everytime) and then cannot access members' features. I don't know squat about paranoid cookies, and am wondering why I can traverse all manner of other websites and not the Airheads' site. Perhaps I need to do a rosary of the canons before proceeding?

I can fix about anything wrong with my R80/7, but I'm not a 'computerhead'. I second Hugh Kenny's question, 'What is the problem?' Thank you, Cecil Dillabough

Apparently there is a long-standing glitch to this advice. When I log-in, the site seems to recognize I have done so and in fact, this comment section automatically fills in my correct name and email address, so lack of log-in does NOT seem to be the problem.
The actual error message I receive when I try to submit a tech article simply says, 'You are not authorized to view this resource' -- NOTHING about 'you need to log-in.'
