Oh yeah, you probably can't see it, which is precisely my point. You get a screen that say this "domain may be for sale" along with a trio of dead links.  So, is this site active or did I just join a city of the dead?

My suspicion is based upon language nuances and misinterpreting the ad as seeking parts instead of a bike. Since the Classified Ads are a public forum this is probably an unavoidable risk. I'm still in favor of it being a public forum for greater exposure for Sellers and Buyers. Just a reminder for Buyer and Seller to beware since this is not a Members Only forum.

Is there another way to remove to get the transmission out without buying the special socket?  I have a ‘74 R75/6. The bolt coming out of the block(see photo) seems to be the only thing that is preventing me from lifting it out. I put the nut back on while trying to figure it out.

Clutch works and shifter moves up and down but no gear change happens. Despite its low miles it has always been a bit fussy. It has a fondness for false neutral and is stubborn about going into first at stoplights when impatient drivers are behind me. I want to fix it but am also considering trying a later-model transmission. I am having trouble finding one though and am not completely sure which ones will work. Any tips or advice would be appreciated. EBay has some sketchy ones, Craigslist and Marketplace don't seem to have any.
