Recieved as bskt case. PO disassembled 2010. Frame, s-arm, sub, h-light & brackets powder coated black. Motor went to Duncans for some parts and review (have receipt). Speedo/tach went to Palo Alto for repair, with milage kept original (receipt)
Registered in 2024. Not original. Although the frame components are powder coated, the rest have a nice patina to it. The used tank (very solid) is rattlecan, as well as the fenders (close, but a different shade of rattlecan. Seat is a /6 cut down to fit the /5 subframe. The battery box is fabricated, as are various other brackets. Key is a Rocky Mount type unit, still uses the key slot but not the original board. Left handlebar switch is new, but right one could use a new detent, otherwise it functions well. New mirrors. New tires. New cables. New battery.
And the rebuilt speedo/tach? Speedo & tach are fine, but odometer is questionable & should have drive cables replaced. Probably sat on the shelf too long.
I enjoyed it, time for other things now.
