1983 R80 G/S. As nice as they come. Orig paint, un-restored with 10,500 orig.mi. Matching numbers. New fluids, filter, Shinko dual sport tires (Oct. 2025 w 400 mi.on them). Orig. stock Metzler Enduro 1's included. Bike comes with orig. blue stock bodywork and a pristine OEM Paris Dakar kit (tank, solo seat, rear rack, white front fender,hand guards). Ridden once with PD kit installed. I am the third owner. I bought the G/S from a good friend who owned Heritage BMW of Pittsburgh. He received the bike in stock form as a trade-in somewhere around 1987 with 9K miles on the clock. Documentation shows that the original owner purchased in Los Angeles-1983. Bike received full service, cleaned and prepped for storage/display. Fluids were drained, cylinders oiled and bike was coated with a thin film of protective oil before displaying in the shop until the dealership closed it's doors in 2008. At that time, the owner moved it to his climate controlled home until I took over ownership 2021.
