A pair of '76 R90/6 that had left years ago with a bike I sold wandered back home.
Can anyone advise on interchangeability with a R75/6?

Most likely they will fit just fine. You might try looking on an on-line fiche like Max BMW's web site and see if the part number for the head casting is the same.

Thanks, JS. Not the same casting number, but they use the same head gasket. Found a thread addressing their interchangeability - same camshaft, basically same jetting, just slightly larger intake valve. Apparently an efficient swap.
