History: Purchased this ex French police bike in Germany 1986, upgrading from a R26. Had it shipped over to CA when I emigrated to the US in 1992. Always garaged, serviced and ridden.

Condition: Bike runs strong, everything works. New paint (except frame) and new leather for Schorsch Meier seat in 1986. Owned 40 years , no repairs were needed except a magneto about 20 years ago and a head overhaul by Ted Turner ~2016. Has original 12V system and shouldered alloy rims. Showed at the Quail in 2016. Comes with US and German tach. Serviced by Scottie Sharpe in last decades. Includes service booklet, shop manual and a small box of essential spare parts.

Why Selling: Thinning the herd as I get older.
