Just bought a used stock seat on eBay for my 83 R80RT to replace the Corbin that came on my bike. The eBay seat has a little compartment in front of the seat, apparently for a 1st aid kit? It came from an R100RT. My brother also has an 83 RT and his does not have this feature. Does anyone know which years had this feature?

I once owned a 1979 model RT that had that. I believe it was on all the dual rear shock models.
Owning an old Airhead is easy.
Keeping an old Airhead running great is the true test.

thats where you keep your weed , man. well, probably for your registration papers, Denfeld made the seats , The RT was considered a premium bike , they came out in 1979 , so 79 to 84 is my guess. Â
