I was wondering is there going to be a tech day in the Ft Worth area ? Im new to the club also to the airhead.I have a 1984 R 65 trying to learn it so for I have had it a few months and I have not ridden it more then 140 miles with out it wanting to leave me stranded.I think I have it fixed now Perry Motorcycle's.finally got it .But I would like to learn from fellow BMW owners,as this is going to be the bike my wife rides,I ride a 2001 Harley Heritage with over 74000 on it I would take it any where.Im tryin to establish that reliability with the Beemer.

You shouldn't have any problem with reliability on the airhead, assuming you are up to date on the maintenance, like I'm sure you are on your Harley.
The airheads are very friendly to work on and a tech day would be a great place to start.

Contact the TX airmarshal for time and place.
You can find him under help > contacts > airmarshals.

Thanks I seen that one to !
So for I haven't had much luck
of getting together with local airhead
riders . I guess it will eventually happen until I'm having fun with my R 65.

Send me a PM and I'll be glad to speak with you. I've owned a couple of R65's and currently have two R90/6 airheads. There are a few others of us around as well. I hope this new vastly improved website will generate more interest. - Mike

That's a good point about the personal message. Something to discuss with the moderators. In the meantime my email is m.crenshaw@sbcglobal.net. - Mike
