I have a 1988 GS, 37K miles. She doesn't like the cold ~25 F/ -4 C started ok but took a little coaksing. Rode to work noticed a high pitched squeel off and on. Runs smooth, no change shifting. Cluch and gear box sound and feel normal. All fluides are at normal levels and are clean/new. Sound goes away when clutch is pulled in. It sounds a lot like when speedometers start to scream (mid 90ies Tacoma trucks) when its really cold (-15F or colder). When not screeching there is a sligh rattle nois that persists when thw clutch is opened. Any ideas? Syncrone springs?. Thanks
