Finally bought a replacement seat, and have it installed and adjusted.  Now need to secure the hinge arms (there are two of them) to the posts, see attached picture.  The post is the rusty protuberance. There is a notch ring, I just have an older iphone with a poor camera.  The photo shows the hinge arm post hole next to the post.  I have tried standard circlips, but not successful, as there is no room there to work with pliers. Anyone found a knob-type slip-on nut, or something that works and is reasonably easy to install ?

Go to EuroMotoElectrics.com and search “seat clip”.

PS: I tried to include a link for you in my post, but was totally unsuccessful. I have two seats that I change between occasionally, so, I install a clip at the rear hinge only.  The front one is too frustrating to access.
