Why do some pipes have one crossover while others have two? My '83 R100RT has 2 crossovers; a friend gave me a new set of headers with 1. Will it make a great deal of difference to go from 2 to 1 crossover?

It may change the decibel level or the tone ever so slightly, but probably not the performance.
Owning an old Airhead is easy.
Keeping an old Airhead running great is the true test.
