Hi!
I need to find someone who can re-upholster my seat, '76 R90/6. Can anyone refer me to a known good vendor?
Thanks!

IF you do this you should upgrade to a quality comfortable seat for riding, make it wider and you'll spend more time in the saddle than you ever thought. There are a couple things you should do to upgrade your steel seat pan first, rebuild the pan so it is functional as a seat for full adjustability.

ADD another set of Bumpers to the riders front area.

Double nut the old worn nuts to allow a good base for the future. Every bumper and anchor needs to have a good thread to 'BITE" into...... NOT the old thin factory ones.

Install a couple extra drain holes.

Weld up any areas that need attention - - - - - re-inforce areas that need that done.

Beef up the pivot and seat pin area.

Use some shade cloth under the foam to keep the foam away from the pan & water. make sure that before you spend the $$$ to re-upholster . . .

Have the stitching seams sealed.

. . . have the pan ready to work for you for longer than you own the bike B4 giving it to the upholstery shop. i have more ideas on this......

when all is built to new specs then put a good coat of paint on it.
then get it recovered with a high quality seat.
