I'm driving my R75/6 across America this summer, taking HWY 50 from Ocean City MD, to Sacramento, CA (then on the San Francisco). Any stops I should be sure to check out?
There are some really cool places on Rt 66, bit that might take you away from Hwy 50...
Several really nice stops from MO thru OK that might keep you close to 50.Â
Just off highway 50 in colorado is 550 that goes over the million dollar highway,  great mountain road,  also orvis hot springs is right on 550.  550 is also a way to avoid I70 as it runs as Hwy 50 after grand junction.  I am  20 miles off of 50 in Hotchkiss if you need a place to stay change your oil or other needs.
