be careful traveling US 18 west through the Oglala Sioux Reservation. I was traveling through there a couple of weeks ago and I was stopped at the border and I thought I was going to be turned back, but they allowed be to travel through there reservation with the warning to not veer off the highway or stop for any reason, or I would be subjected to a $1000 fine. The Pine Ridge Indian Reservation to the east of them did not seem to have any travel restrictions.
