Looking at a parts drawing of a front caliper for this model, there appears to be a washer/spacer (part 8, see attached) between the caliper and the front fork leg boss. Is that correct? and its only on the top mount?

As to the number of spacers, I think it’s two per bike. If you look at ‘dust cap’ It calls out 2.
Life isn’t easy working on a bike someone else worked on... ugh
