How do you physically remove the old rubber diode board mounts? My rubber just twisted right off and I'm looking at four of those steel bases that seem to be frozen to the engine.
Are we talking soaking in Liquid Wrench or just going for it with a pair of channel locks? BTW, this is an 1988 R100RT. Does anyone remove more than the front lower grille to get access?
Please give me your thoughts.
