The original plan was for us to meet this month at Diamonds Coffee, one of our favorite spots. But I stopped there today and confirmed that Diamonds is closing. Tomorrow, July 4th, will be their last day. It’s unfortunate to lose such a good meeting place for bikers. A moment of silence, please…

OK, as a reminder, Up Coffee Cafe serves coffee, pastry, and treats baked at the cafe. Outdoor seating is excellent with plenty of bike parking spaces in front. Let’s hope that the weather will be as pleasant there as it was in June.

Location: The best access is one block east of Stinson Blvd. on E. Hennepin. Turn north on Taft Ave. NE and go one short block north to Traffic Ave. NE. The cafe is to the left on Traffic Ave NE. Check Google Maps for more details.
