This bike was purchased by a friend of mine 20-30 years ago used from Mattison BMW/Scooterville on South Saunders St in Raleigh, NC. It had just under 30,000 miles on it. He was going to restore/recondition it, so he disassembled it and placed everything in boxes for the pending project. There it sat until I purchased the bike in boxes about 2 years ago.
