Newb here. Newb to Beemers also, though have had bikes on and off throughout my life. My other ride is currently a KLR 650.

Just picked this up in January. All stock with 12,650 on the odo. Also has a nice clean set of Krauser bags and the original seat backrest and some crash bars that arent installed. Tool pouch and owners manual in plastic still there also.

Needs a cleaning, some fresh juice and tires but in nice shape overall. Also have all the maint. docs. Best part was the price. Plan is to keep it stock and as original as possible.

Looking to meetup with some other airheads in the Central NJ, Eastern PA locale as the weather and virus season breaks.

Also looking for another windshield or S Fairing for the time being also. Gonna keep the luftmeister in storage for the time being.

1978 R100RS - 36k miles... stock sans Brown ride off center stand.
This pic was taken just before I rode out to Philadelphia for the Hans Muth celebration.
I met so many wonderful folks - Hans was kind enough to sign my bike.

In total, 553 miles over 3 days - great memories.

Sheltering in place down in SoCal. Took "The Shark" for a quick Sunday drive down the coast to see how the rest of humanity is/isn't practicing social distancing. I've been working on the R100RS a little bit more lately. Nothing major, just some cleaning up, replacing parts and good old fashioned TLC. Checking some of those boxes off on the list.

My 1975 R90/6. This belonged to a friend who died. His wife gave it to me and I restored it in his honor. Had not run in 10 years. Runs like a top now, and looks great too.
