I think this is something we should think about. When my wife and I retire, we plan to move to another region. I'm not sure that it would be appropriate for me to remain as my state's ( IL.) Airmarshal. Further to consider, I became Airmarshal when our beloved former Airmarshal, Al Sloan, died un-expectedly. I was installed by the club officers and 3 of our IL. members. That's not exactly an endorsement of the membership. I would state that our membership has not raised concerns about how the club is functioning in IL.
But,...
We should consider what would be the best way to maintain a sense of continuity for our members.
