1995 R100RT Monoshock Recommendation

After 50,000 miles and 3-4 years, the IKON mono shock I installed on the RT is now a pogo stick so looking for a replacement. Thinking about bang for the buck the YSS is reputed to be OK Does anyone have experience with YSS? Thoughts?
Thanks,
Joe H

Due to the underwhelming response to this post, thought I'd come back here and update. I installed a "Top Line" YSS shock from Ted Porter, and it's probably the most comfortable shock I ever had on an Airhead. No idea how long it will last, but even if only 20,000miles, for the price I can buy another one and still be below cost of a Wilbur or other high end shock. Keeping fingers crossed, and hoping this YSS will last at least as long as the IKON it replaced, which was over 50,000 miles.

I am very inclined to follow Mr. Porter’s recommendations. That is exactly where I would go for shocks and forks.

And yes, this forum can be very underwhelming. A few of us keep trying, however.

You are in Kentucky, correct? Where at? We lived in several places in Kentucky from 1989 to 2017. Was a “member” of the Bluegrass Beemers based in Lexington for a number of years. Beautiful state.

My brother fitted shocks from Ted Porter to his Oilhead 1100R (no idea what brand) and they were indeed superior.
Owning an old Airhead is easy.
Keeping an old Airhead running great is the true test.

Thanks for the feedback y'all. David, I live very near Ft Knox, and living & loving retirement. Lexington is about 100 miles from me, and I have long heard of the BG Beemer club, not sure they're still active though.
