Last Chance Rendezvous XXVII
Many extended Airhead family members make their holiday plans to include this warm and welcome gathering. Agua Caliente County Park is 81 miles east of San Diego (26 miles NW of I-8 on highway S2 near mile marker 38.5). Warm showers, hot springs, great hiking & curvy roads lead to historical sites of early California.
LCR 27 is a 2 night affair that begins with Friday dinner. We’ll serve 4 more hot meals until Sunday morning. Bring a chair & some holiday cheer. Winter rain is common in SoCal, but this campground stays dry due to a rain shadow (and a giant pavilion)!
Daytime temps of 70° / overnight near 35°, so just mingle by the roaring fire and bring good camping gear to keep yourself warm.
The first sixty people paying $45 to me by Dec. 24th get 5 delectable meals and 2 nights camping. Be advised, grumpy park rangers have charged a small daily parking fee in past years.
