My Gs wouldn’t start battery dead. I jumped it off and it cranked fine, but wouldn’t run after I removed jump box. I figured battery wasn’t hot enough for it run , not sure why alternator wouldn’t keep it running . So I put bike on charger over night and now it turns over but won’t start. I checked and no fire to plugs. I am guessing the charger was charging at 10 amps and must have fried something.
I would like feedback as to possible problems and what to check first.
Thanks

When was the last time this engine was run ? How old is the fuel in the tank ?

Modern ethanol fuel is good for maybe 6-8 weeks after it's pumped. After that it will foul the plugs and refuse to start.

Owning an old Airhead is easy.
Keeping an old Airhead running great is the true test.

Just some ideas...
• And the fuses are good ? All other electrical devices are working as they should ?

• Have you checked the 3-pin connector coming out of the Hal sensor can ? The tan connector housing sometimes crumbles/ disintegrates leaving the ignition DOA. Euro Motoelectrics sells a replacement connector.

• You can check the alternator brushes when you look at the Hall connector.
