My new to me R65 has the back wheel about 4 inches off the ground when on the center stand. Very hard to use and unstable. the shocks are stock-I think. They are 11.45 extended when up on the stand and about 11 inches when on the ground. I think this is the wrong stand. thank you -Jim

The R75 and R100 use a 340mm shock. That's about 13-3/8 inches. I know the R65 is somewhat lower, but that might be an area to start your search. Plenty of shock makers list the standard length on their web sites.

Hope this helps.

Lowering R65's to fit lady riders was a very common conversion. Usually the first step was shorter rear shocks.

If you need replacement rear shocks, I highly recommend Hagon as the least expensive "Grade A" shock. Deal directly with Hagon USA and they will fit the proper springs according to your normal load (rider + passenger + luggage).
