I have a stripped head bolt on my R1100 S. Waiting for new voltage regulators for my R65 LS and R100 RS. I'm hoping that's the charging problem with my R65.

Thanks for the reply, wasn't sure anyone makes it down to this section of the Internet.  Sourcing helicoils is the easy part. They're readily available.  The issue is finding a stud jig for drilling the case to accept the helicoils.  The cycle tools guy in Ks doesn't offer them anymore, northwoods likewise.  Don't feel like dropping $350 or so on a one use tool either, but it may be the only way.

No other luck with the tool library?
