New member from Idaho.

My first Airhead was a '79 R100RT.  It was a bit of a basket case with unknown mileage.  I got it road worthy and rode it for a couple of years, and then sold it to buy an 1150GS.  I missed the airhead sound and feel.  When I happened to see this nice '83 R80RT for sale last summer, I jumped at the chance and sold the GS.

Looking forward to getting some miles on it this season.

Pete

Greetings from way down in south Texas. Don’t get to meet many folks from Idaho!  Glad you found a way back to airhead ownership.  My cylinder heads were rebuilt not too long ago by your Airmarshall, Todd Millican, at Britts and Beemers Bikewerks in Caldwell, ID. Good guy!

The picture you attached is suitable for framing!  Very nice.

Welcome from Georgia !

Owning an old Airhead is easy.
Keeping an old Airhead running great is the true test.

I reached out to Todd Millican via email yesterday, wondering if there are any airhead happenings coming up.

And yes, not too many airheads on the road around here...
