Hello Airheads - just joined and am excited to be here. Will soon be on my fourth GS - it started close to 40yrs ago with an R80G/S, #2 was the R1150GS, #3 the Wethead version and now, #4 is back to a1981 Vintage R80G/S MOA-Foundation raffle prize fully restored by Dutch Lammers and I'll receive it in a few weeks at the 2023 50th BMW MOA National Rally June 8-10, 2023 - Excited as hell!

I'll be on the lookout for pannier racks and panniers, as well as increased lighting and heated vest hookups.

Best wishes and safe riding!

Congrats sir! I was 2 digits away from winning the 22 MOA raffle R75? Would've been a great ending to my first rally. ha ha!

Sorry for the delay, my wet head has been sitting idle for the past 2,600 miles. I completed a great ride from Maryland to the Niagra Falls, Canada area and was able to meet 'Dutch', the restorer of the bike.

Farkles added, include  GPS, a wind deflector, hand guards, pannier racks and the right side pannier. Researching the optimal amount of electrics I can add. Having fun!
